Welcome to Professional Development Institute 2009

The Regional Office of Education for Bond, Fayette and Effingham Counties in conjunction with the Vandalia School District welcome you to the 2009 Tri-County Professional Development Institute.

Teachers will find that the Institute provides the opportunity to make professional connections with colleagues as well as to advance your knowledge and skills in your current area(s) of certification, endorsement, or teaching assignment, consistent with the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards and the Illinois Content-Area Standards.

Administrators will have opportunities to attend sessions alongside teachers and are also invited to participate in roundtable discussions that address issues that impact supervision of instruction, effective evaluation of professional staff and programs, general administrative skill development, and the overall management of the school environment.
